BILINGUAL PROGRAMS
The main goal of this childcare center is to have fun, improve social skills, and encourage creative expression among children. Academy of Child Development and Amore LLC provides a preschool program from September through June for children ages 2 – 5 at no additional cost to parents. Our curricular activities include arts & crafts, music, math, science, story-telling, games, as well as letter, shape, color, and number recognition that follows a monthly theme. We will require some home projects to share with the family to foster our children’s household bonds. Currently, our childcare center offers four primary educational programs for our young pupils to enroll in. Academy of Child Development and Amore LLC is mainly focused on children readiness to go to first grade. Child will know basic concepts in both languages (Spanish-English) like: colors, shapes, numbers, ABC’s and will be able to solve simple equations and to write their own names. These programs include:
The Infant Care Program
A program is intended for infants to develop early childhood skills.
The Preschool Program
This program is ideal for your children’s initial introduction to schooling.
The Kinder Program
This program is ideal for your children’s preparation for primary school.
The Day and Night Care Program
This program is intended for parents who need temporary supervision for their children, including drop-in and weekend.
Along with the insightful programs in our curriculum, parents may also expect their children to experience various activities that help incorporate a holistic approach to learning.
Toilet Training
To help the children gain independence from wearing diapers, our staff offers a helpful potty training session that involves the cooperation of the child’s dear parents. While we guide your child to follow the training in the center, it is also highly encouraged for parents to apply this training during weekends.
Naps and Quiet Time
We allot a particular time in the afternoon for the kids to replenish their energy. The center provides sleeping mats and pillows for everyone, but if your child has a sentimental blanket or stuffed toy, we encourage parents to bring them to the center every day.
Indoor & Outdoor Play
Our learning centers are tailor based on the scaffolding technique and supported by Jean Piaget Theory, that children learn throughout playful experiences. We provide our children with interactive and didactic educational toys to ensure optimal child development. We ensure to apply a rotation in the availability of our toys. A friendly reminder: we don’t allow children to bring toys from their homes to the center.
As for our outdoor play program, our staff brings the children outside to experience weather-appropriate activities, such as strolling, biking, and water play.
Meals
Nourishing snacks and drinks are offered in the center every school day. However, please note that providing a strict modified diet for a particular child is outside our service.
Birthdays
As a celebration of your child’s special day, we shall give them a surprise present. If you want to throw a party for your child, the center will not be responsible for buying the party food. However, we are willing to collaborate with you.
Field Trips
Now and then, we facilitate educational field trips for our children to enjoy. Every time we plan a field trip, the parents will be asked to sign a permission slip to carry out this program. Rest assured, we strictly adhere to state laws regarding field trips.
